Building each seasonal camp from the ground up for Safari Season in the South Luangwa, from mid-May to mid-November. Our seasonal camps blend seamlessly into the natural environment, ensuring each guest’s experience is nothing short of magical. The Build Begins

Weeks before our camps open their doors to guests, our dedicated team embarks on a journey of transformation. Led by seasoned experts, including the Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and Camp Manager, a comprehensive assessment of the upcoming season’s needs is conducted, and every detail is meticulously planned. This year, our preparations began six weeks ahead, allowing ample time for major projects, such as refurbishing accommodations and revamping communal spaces. The effort and care put into building the camps is equal to the process of their deconstruction at the end of every season — ensuring that we tread lightly and leave minimal impact on the surrounding environment.

The Art of Reconstruction

With the Zambian sun as our guide, the hands of local artisans breathe life into our camps. Working tirelessly, our team weaves together natural materials sourced from the surrounding community, infusing each structure with a sense of place and purpose.
