Time + Tide Safaris
- Rates include accommodation, all meals, standard drinks (soft drinks, house wine, beer and spirits), transfers to/ from local airport (except Jeki Airport**), local inter- camp road transfers, laundry, service charge & 2 daily activities: Game drives (day and night), walking safaris, cultural visits, canoeing (seasonal) and boat cruises (seasonal).
- Fishing and canoeing are available at Time + Tide Chongwe Camps all season.
- Chongwe House, Albida & Cassia Suites have private vehicles and guides

Rates include accommodation, all meals, selected premium wines and champagnes, top shelf spirits & bar drinks, laundry and the following activities: Guided lemur walks, forest walks, scuba diving around Miavana, resort diving lessons, snorkelling, boat cruises, island cultural visits, shore-based fishing, half-day fishing trips, surf-ski, water skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, wakeboarding, kite-surfing, a 30-minute spa treatment per person, daily group yoga classes, bicycling, quad biking and the use of an electric buggy per villa.

Time + Tide Safaris
- Children of all ages welcome in all camps.
- Children under 18 years old are 50% of the nightly adult rate and Park Fees and Conservation Levies, and children under 3 years old are free of charge, when sharing with an adult.
- Families of four or less members, including at least one child younger than 8 years, are required to book and pay for the use of a private game viewer for the duration of their stay.
- Adults are responsible for supervising children at all times.
- Minimum age for walking, canoeing and sleepout is 12 years old and at the discretion of the guide.
Miavana
- Children of all ages are welcome at Miavana. Children under 18 years of age are 50% of the nightly adult rate. Children under 14 years of age stay complimentary, when sharing with an adult. Conservation Levies and Access Fees are applicable for children aged 4 – 17, while children aged 0 – 3 are free of charge. Some of our activities may be unsuitable for younger children, therefore personalised activity programs will be designed once on the island. Adults are responsible for supervising children at all times.
Time + Tide Safaris
- Single Supplement: 50% of the nightly rate
- Time + Tide Sleepout: $275 per person per night, minimum 2 people, subject to availability.
- Private Guide + Vehicle: $570 per vehicle per night, subject to availability. Private guide and vehicle are complimentary for guests staying at Time + Tide Albida, Cassia and Chongwe House.
- Tour Leader / Pilot / Guide: $150 per person per night plus Park Fees and Conservation Levies (non-commissionable), staying in Back of House accommodation or nearby alternative.
- **Chongwe / Jeki Transfer: $100 per person each way (20 min game drive plus 1 hour boat ride OR 3 hour game drive, depending on flight arrival/departure time).
Miavana
- Single Supplement: 50% of the nightly rate
- Tour Leader / Pilot / Guide: $730 per person per night plus $150 Conservation Levies and Access Fees (non-commissionable)
- Helicopter Transfers: $800 per person each way: Diego Suarez to / from Miavana; $1,200 per person each way: Nosy Be to / from Miavana (non-commissionable)
- Helicopter Adventures: $2,500 per flying hour per helicopter; after the first flying hour, any additional flying is then charged proportionately (non-commissionable)
- Full-Day Deep-Sea Fishing: $570 per trip over 4 hours (non-commissionable)
- PADI Diving Certification: $440 Open Water I; $330 Open Water II (non-commissionable)
- Kite-Surfing Lessons: $4,690 per week with a private instructor, minimum of 7 days (non-commissionable)
Zambia – South Luangwa
- No charge for transfer from Mfuwe International Airport to relevant TIME + TIDE camp
Zambia – Lower Zambezi
- Arriving / departing from Jeki Airstrip: a transfer fee of $70 per person, each way will apply for all guests
- Arriving / departing from Royal Airstrip: no transfer fee applicable
Zambia – Liuwa Plain
- No charge for transfer from /to Kalabo Airstrip to TIME + TIDE King Lewanika
- Transfer is either a minimum 2½ hour game drive transfer or 15-minute helicopter flight
- We endeavour to provide helicopter transfers to / from TIME + TIDE King Lewanika, however, due to unforeseen circumstance this is not always possible. In the event that the helicopter is not operational, guests will be transferred by road in an open game viewing vehicle.
Please take note that scheduled flights to TIME + TIDE King Lewanika operate with Proflight on SUNDAY and WEDNESDAYS only
- Routings to / from Kalabo operate out of Livingstone or Lusaka as follows:

Time + Tide Safaris and Miavana
- Bookings made on a provisional basis will be held for 14 days. We reserve the right to release any bookings not confirmed within this period. In extraordinary circumstances we will hold for longer than 14 days. Should there be requests for the same dates – we will require confirmation of the booking and payment of the deposit within 48 hours.
A commitment fee of 20% of the total cost of your booking or the cost of any third-party services held, whichever is higher, is required to confirm the booking and secure the space. This is non-refundable and due within 14 days of confirmation. Full and final payment of the remaining balance is required 45 days before travel. Time + Tide accepts two methods of payment:
+ Electronic Bank Transfers:
Funds transferred to Time + Tide should be the full amount invoiced. The payee is liable for all foreign exchange commissions and / or bank charges.
+ Credit card payment:
Time + Tide accepts payment by all major credit cards, including virtual credit cards (VCC). A service fee of 4% will be charged for each transaction.

Time + Tide Safaris and Miavana
- Travel Insurance: Upon booking confirmation, guest to ensure that the appropriate comprehensive travel and medical insurance is taken out to protect against, inter alia, cancellation or interruption of tour, personal accident, emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of baggage. Time + Tide cannot take responsibility for external events that may result in travel delays e.g. adverse weather conditions, rescheduled / missed flights etc. The guest is responsible for any and all expenses that arise as a result of last-minute changes to itineraries.
MIAVANA HELICOPTER ADVENTURES
- Our off-island adventures are based on a maximum of 4 passengers per helicopter and are subject to availability. For guided excursions, a private guide will accompany guests in the helicopter. Appropriate snacks and drinks are included. Due to other guest transfers and weather conditions, timing for any pre-booked helicopter adventures will only be confirmed on the island.
MIAVANA HELICOPTER TRANSFERS
- Miavana operates 2 Robinson Turbine R66 helicopters and each helicopter takes a maximum of 4 passengers and flies with one pilot. Our helicopters strictly operate during daylight hours. Unless specifically booked, all helicopter transfers may be shared. For stays of 5 nights or more, arrival and departure helicopter flights to / from Miavana, either from Diego Suarez or Nosy Be, are complimentary. Helicopter transfers to / from other areas in Northern Madagascar can be arranged at an additional charge. Prior to your arrival, please discuss confirmed arrival / departure times with your Travel Designer. If for any reason guests are delayed on / off the island, Time + Tide cannot be held responsible if guests are unable to get to Miavana / mainland Madagascar. Any forced overnights are for the agent’s / guests’ account.
MIAVANA LUGGAGE
- Maximum luggage weight of 20kg (44lbs) + small handbag of 5kg (11lbs) per person. Soft sided luggage is required due to storage hold size limitations of the helicopters. Excess luggage is not guaranteed to be brought to Miavana and if guests want to guarantee excess luggage they should inform the company well in advance. There will be an additional cost charged for the guests’ account. There are no luggage storage facilities at either Diego Suarez or Nosy Be International Airports.
Miavana Exclusive Use
- Maximum number of guests is 32 people. We will block and charge the night before arrival, to minimise disruption for guests and to ensure the best experience. A minimum of a 5 night stay is required. A non- refundable commitment fee of 20% of total booking value is required to secure the accommodation. Full and final payment of the remaining balance is required 90 days prior to arrival date.

Chinzombo is a stunning lodge in a beautiful location of the South Luangwa. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with a deck and plunge pool overlooking the Luangwa River.
